Un piccolo post dedicato all'amica Laura, padovana di origine

ma abitante di Bali per circa 9 mesi l'anno! . Beata, direte, ma vi garantisco che probabilmente Laura

se ne starebbe bene anche a casa oppure in altri luoghi se non fosse per i suoi  problemi di salute che la obbligano a trascorrere  molto tempo in questa zona  .Mentre assorbe le tradizioni e la cultura locale , ha trovato già da un pò di tempo il tempo e l'ispirazione per ricamare e cucire delle belle cosine .

Ultimamente ha puntato sul cucito, anzi sul quilting/patchwork , utilizzando tessuti Batik che sono molto in voga qui ed anche molto costosi , mentre là si trovano con una discreta varietà di disegn a prezzi molto ragionevoli(tenendo conto del cambio favorevole con l'euro!!). Ha creato piccole cose graziosissime utilizzando i materiali di facile reperimento , come la Juta dei sacchetti di riso!Laura quindi mi ha fatto vedere quello che crea  e voglio mostrarvelo, brava Laura.

A little post is dedicated to my friend Laura  who is from Padoa, Italy but she lives most of the year (9 months at least) in Bali .How lucky you'll think, but it is not like that: Laura has got health problems and she is obliged to live in a hot area as Bali. Perhaps if she would be fine , she wouldn' stay there , who knows..

Laura has approahed the world of cross stitching years ago but she is now discovering and finding a lot of fun in quilting and patchwork using different materials as burlap from rice bags! . She bought  Batik fabric locally sold at a very low(reasonable) price compared in Europe ,creating many little items  which I want to show you! Clever Laura!

Un petit article est dédié à mon amie Laura  qui vient de Padue , Italie mais elle vit la plus part del'année à Bali pour raisons de santé .

 Chance? je crois que Laura , s'elle pourrait, elle voudrais bien vivre chez soi toute l'année .. laura a commencé à broder il y a quelque temps  mais elle vient de decouvrir le quilting et patchwork . Je veux vous montrer ce quelle a arrangé avec le peu de choses qu'elle trouve (de la Juta aussi de sachet de riz !) . Je vous montre donc les petits travaux de Laura:
